Das FA beats Dadar XI 3-1 to end group stage on top
Das FA beats Dadar XI to end the preliminary round on top of group A while Milan FA blanked Oscar Foundation (A) 5-1 in another group A clash. Meanwhile in group G Naval Dockyard registered their first victory in their last match against Freunds SA.
2nd Division , Group A : Das FA ( Erhard 23’ 31’ , Aditya 35’) 3-1 Dadar XI (Revelino 65’)
In another 2nd division fixture Das FA all but ensured qualification into play-off with a 3-1 victory over Dadar XI thanks to Erhard Fernandes’ first half brace. Erhard scored his first goal with 23rd minute on the clock and netted his second 8 minutes later. Aditya Jambhle scored 4 minutes later to make it 3-0 going into the break. Dadar XI tried hard in the second half but could only manage to reduce the margin when Revelino Fernandez pulled one back at the fag end of the match but it was too late as they fall out of the race for qualification. Das FA completes the preliminary round on the top of group A with 17 points from 8 matches will remain there if Classic FA unables to win their last encounter.

Naval Dockyard( Dhiraj 33’,Ganesh 42’,Ramesh 46’ Nayak 52’, James 68’) 5-0 Freunds SA
In the last encounter of their campaign Naval Dockyard registered their first win over struggling Freunds SA thumping 5 goals past them. The turning point of the match came in 28th min when custodian Rajendra Thapa got marching order owing to serious foul play. Dhiraj Jagitiala taking the full opportunity opened the floodgates in 33rd minute before Ganesh Vaydande made it 2-0 nine minutes lates. Ramesh Krishnamoorthy added to the second half blitz when found the back of the net in 46th minute before Trilochon Nayak and James Kujur completed a 5 goal routing to end the campaign on a high.
2nd Division,group A : Milan FA 5-1 Oscar Foundation (A)
In an important 2nd division clash Milan Football Academy vanquished Oscar Foundation(A) 5-1 courtesy a brace by Rashid Chafekar . Subham Salvi opened the scoring 20th minute before Ritish Mavle added to the tally. Oscar pulled one through Akash Rathod in 28th minute but then came on Rashid who scored his team’s third goal and his first of the day. Sourav Nikam netted the fourth goal after with Rashid completed his brace to wind up, what has been a satisfying afternoon for Milan FA. They now move up to the 4th place with 10 points in 6 matches.
