Edu garcia is put aside with an ankle injury

The ATK Mohun Bagan midfielder is put aside due to the ankle injury which he suffered during the last game.

The midfielder has to spend large amount of time on rest. The Spaniard got injured during the last match against Chennaiyin FC on 21st January. During the match he was seen limping while leaving the pitch with the team doctor and physio. The injury will take atleast two-to-three weeks to heal. This means that Garcia will miss the upcoming fixtures.

He has appeared in 10 games in this League. He also scored 1 goal against FC Goa. He had previously missed two games against SC East Bengal and Odisha FC.

Let’s see whether this misfortune will turn tables for the Mariners will Sk Sahil be a replacement for Garcia. Sk Sahil has appeared in 6 matches for ATK Mohun Bagan.

Currently ATK Mohun Bagan is on the second position with 24 points. We wish the Spanish midfielder a speedy recovery.
